This week we chose to switch it up in our posting, and give our audience (you guys) something new. We spoke with one of our partnering businesses on their HVAC needs & relationship with us. Our featured client this week is Greg Millsape from Paper Mart. Amazingly, Paper Mart has been in business for over 100 years and they provide various supplies for your home or office. They’ve built a reputation on providing a wide array of quality products at great prices. They really have it all for your packaging , with over 20,000 products that work for many different scenarios. Join us as we dive further into their HVAC needs and how we’ve managed to help their situation.
Paper Mart’s Commercial HVAC Needs
As mentioned in our video, Paper Mart had issues with system reliability, performance efficiency, and reliability of prior technicians. These are just a few symptoms of having an unreliable HVAC contractor to be working with. From the work required all the way down to punctuality and communication, it was hard to find quality work & practical pricing. Contractors notoriously have ambiguous pricing, and can sometimes be disingenuous with the details of their work or other job requirements. Conversely, there are a few brands that do get this part right. Due to the large amount of contractors, it can be difficult finding someone that fits your needs correctly.
Solving Pain Points
Although the work required is not the most challenging work in HVAC, it doesn’t diminish the importance of it. Despite somewhat of a simple workflow to maintain these units, we can see vendors cut corners in their processes and end up with poor quality of work. Certainly this will cause vendors to begin looking for a contractor that are ready to meet their needs at the quality they expect. Normally the biggest hills to climb for businesses are performance related, but technician reliability & availability is often overlooked. Because of the relationship required, it is important to find an HVAC company that does what you’re looking for, AND gives you the professionalism your business deserves.

The Omni Air Difference
After talking with Greg, it was actually surprising to know how many different vendors provided Paper Mart with lackluster results. From our conversation, it appears that we were able to plug up the holes they had with prior vendors. Paper Mart was appreciative of our communication, thoroughness in work, punctuality, availability, as well as attitude. Our commitment to maintaining a great relationship really set us over the top with Greg and the team at Paper Mart, and we are grateful that our efforts are acknowledged. Providing our clients with a stress free process is at the top of our priorities. Working with multiple systems many employees rely on can be a lot to deal with. Omni Air focuses on remaining meticulous on all units and working to get the best solution always.
Concluding Thoughts
Shopping for an HVAC vendor is tough. Unfortunately there are a lot of options to pick from, and it is hard for most vendors to really get a feel for who they are working with initially. There is a lot of rapport building and communication required for a healthy commercial partnership. It requires work to build and especially maintain. We are glad that Paper Mart was able to sit down with us and highlight all the things they were struggling with, and how we were able to solve their needs. While there are standard channels of getting our message across, we are greatly appreciative for Paper Mart’s honesty in answering our questions. We feel that word of mouth reputation speaks best, and thank them for their participation. Lastly, don’t forget to check out www.papermart.com!
